About the Company

Upintheair Theatre is the producer of the rEvolver Festival, The Array performance series, UpDrafts Collaborative Commission and award-winning theatrical productions such as The North Plan, The City and The City and Inside the Seed

Job Description

Upintheair is hiring an Marketing & Event Producer to join our team to aid the delivery of the company’s marketing, design, and event operations. Upintheair has a shared leadership strategy that empowers employees to learn while at work, build their career, and provide a voice in the direction of the organization. Our Marketing & Event Producer will hit the ground running for rEvolver preparations.

Time commitment and compensation

Title: Marketing and Event Producer

Hours: ~ 15 hours/week* ~ 60 hours/month*

Employment Profile: 6 month contract with possibility of renewal to annual after July 31st, 2024

Remuneration: $25/hr up to $1,500/mo 

*Seasonal Workload Fluctuation

The majority of the position’s responsibilities are responsive to seasonal highs around project delivery for rEvolver Festival in May/June and inhouse productions in late fall/early winter (The Array / Updrafts Collaborative Commission).
