Upintheair Theatre Presents Plastik Theatriks'

Popurrí

Puppet autopsies, an evil sweater, dining flies… it’s ok to be confused.

Dates: May 28 @ 7:00 pm May 30 @ 7:00 pm May 31 @ 8:00 pm

Popurrí is a physical theatre piece that draws upon clowning, puppetry, masks, and opera to create a variety of short vignettes. Weaving together absurdity, surreal atmospheres, and eccentric characters. Developed through workshops and performances across Victoria, BC, including Atomic Vaudeville’s cabarets, SKAMpede Festival 2025 and more, Popurrí made its official debut at the Victoria Fringe Festival 2025, thanks to the generous BC Arts Council. At the Fringe, Popurrí was the Volunteer Pick, and it received outstanding feedback and reviews. Popurrí invites audiences into a playful and oniric world. It’s ok to be confused.
