Welcome to THE MIDNIGHT PARADE; a collection of crocheted costumes that are brought to life through physical embodiment & musical interaction. Three performers and one musician explore the thoughts and characters parading through a small child’s mind as he dreams. The Midnight Parade is a spectacle of friendship demonstrated by bodies in vibrant crochet heartfully moving through space. It celebrates being exactly where you should be; where you are.
It is parading in the dark to emerge lighter.

The Midnight Parade is considered Deaf, deaf and Hard of Hearing friendly. This is a new creative access approach that the rEvolver Festival is exploring to see if ii can support community members in making content a bit more accessible when ASL may not be available and for folks who are not ASL users. The Midnight Parade is a movement based piece with a musical background and a small amount of dialogue, but the storytelling is very visual. On June 2nd, Deaf performer, Ladan Sahreai, will be performing in ASL alongside a hearing artist to interpret the English Dialogue. This show is followed by a talkback which will include ASL interpretation.
If you experienced this show we would love any feedback that you would be willing to share.
