Upintheair Theatre Presents Tony Adam's

tony wrestles a stranger

A very public display of daddy issues

A man in a blue wrestling singlet has wieners thrown in his eye
Dates: May 23 @ 7:00 pm May 24 @ 8:05 pm May 26 @ 8:45 pm

tony wrestles a stranger is a surreal family reunion that is like a hot dog eating contest meets an MFA thesis project. Through physical challenges like 15 minutes of burpees or eating a pack of hotdogs, tony explores and interrogates their various axis’ of identity in a performance that is visceral and tender. All crafted so that tony and their dad, who hopefully shows up, can finally have some father-kid moments they have missed out on. This is a very deliberate display of daddy issues.
