Accessible rEvolver

Every year, we offer a variety of accessible performances at rEvolver Festival. We are happy to answer any questions or hear any feedback/suggestions you may have. Please reach out to our Access Coordinator, Amy Amantea at [email protected]

LVF (Low-vision friendly) Performances:

**All readings are also a relaxed environment:

  • It is OK if you need to move around
  • You can leave and come back
  • There will be a box of fidget toys available
  • You are welcome to bring your water bottle

Relaxation Station

From May 28 to 31, we will have access to the Founder’s Lounge at The Cultch for our relaxation station. This is a place where folks can go when they need a calm, quiet environment. There will be pillows, blankets, and fidget toys available. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this space during the first weekend of the festival, May 22-24.

The Founder’s Lounge is located to the left of the main entrance, just before the doors to the Historic Theatre.

Getting to The Cultch

rEvolver performances are at The Cultch, in either the Vancity Culture Lab or the Jim Green House Studio. The Cultch is located at 1895 Venables St. in Vancouver. Both the Vancity Culture Lab and the Jim Green House Studio are wheelchair accessible*.

*note: There is a section of gravel in the pathway to the Jim Green House Studio.

  • There is accessible parking just behind The Cultch, access via Victoria Dr.
  • The washrooms are gender neutral. There are two accessible stalls.
  • The Cultch aims to be a scent-free venue. Please refrain from wearing scented products.
