Set in a makeshift survivalist hideaway, WROL (Without Rule of Law) by Michaela Jeffery is a darkly comic coming-of-age play that explores the secret lives of four adolescent girls who are fighting to adapt to a world they cannot trust to prioritize their well-being. Part campfire story, part primal scream, WROL is a love letter to every girl who has ever been told she is “too much.” Welcome to The Pit. Please don’t make yourself comfortable – they’re not.
